TII is preparing corporate solution packages for the companies, in the crisis environment |
TII is developing the corporate membership system, parallel to the needs of the insurance sector in the crisis environment, in order to provide the companies with the opportunity to benefit from its services at a higher level.
Through this system, the companies will be able to benefit from the options of services presented by TII, in line with its academic knowledge and sectoral experience, which include training programmes, researches and publications, conferences, seminars, social activities and consultancy, in the most advantageous way meeting their needs.
These solution options will provide discounts and off – charge access to services of TII and will bring the advantage of reaching easier many services which they currently benefit from. In addition, the companies will be able to get informed about many services of TII, of which they were not aware before. In order to meet the needs and expectations of each company in the sector, each novelty and advantage within the corporate membership system, will be presented in various membership options, together with the standard membership.
This set – up, which provides opportunities more than the membership systems of the similar institutions in the world, will enable the training and HR departments to have a foresight of their activities in the year when the corporate membership of the company starts. Thus, TII will be able to make long – term planning for the sector, and will organize its services in a more innovative and creative way. Corporate membership system, will bring together a more systematic and professional settlement among the companies, rather than a volunteer cooperation and solution partnership status. A corporate sense of belonging, which will develop in line with this process, will create the suitable environment between the sector and TII, in order to strengthen the existing relations. TII is analyzing the structure of the sector for target – driven training programmes |
TII has started with “Sectoral Analysis” in order to properly define the training needs and expectations of the insurance companies and to plan its training programmes in this direction.
Through the sectoral analysis, TII is aiming at developing the most suitable training programmes which will meet the qualitative and quantitative features of the employment in the sector, in line with the data provided with regard to the units in the organizational charts of the insurance companies, including the figures such as the numbers of the personnel employed in the positions in these units.
TII is aiming at developing solutions through its training programmes, to be prepared in line with this data, which will increase the individual and corporate performances of the employees, and decrease the training costs of the companies in a crisis environment.

TII participated to the “Aegean Insurance Lobby” |
TII participated to the “Aegean Insurance Lobby” meeting on July 7th, organized by the “Insurance at the Aegean” magazine at Izmir Park Symirna Hotel. Prof. Dr. Suna Özyüksel, TII Manager, and Nurhan Sütlaþ, Head of Marketing and Communications Unit, participated to the meeting, where awards in several categories were given to the institutions of the insurance sector. The members of the sector enjoyed the party after the award ceremony of the organization, which was attended by the executives of the actors of the sector.

TII Short Term Training Programmes continue in August with up – to – date and new topics. The training programmes, which are designed to meet the increasing needs of the constantly developing sector, concentrate on finance, law and marketing topics.
Methods of Market Deepening and Improvement for Insurance Companies, Compliance in the Financial Services Sector, A General Overview to Directors’ Liabilities in Accordance with the Insurance Law, are among the programmes in August.

“Mathematics” and “Basic Economics” programmes for the actuary candidates |
TII training programmes designed for the employees of the actuary departments and actuary candidates continue in August. Among the programmes, which are designed in 5 different modules, “Mathematics” will take place at 3rd – 14th August, and “Basic Economics” at 17th – 25th August.

We are expecting your articles for the 6th issue of Journal of Insurance Studies |
Journal of Insurance Studies, published by TII, is the first and only refereed journal in Turkey on insurance in which the technical and/or theoretical issues in the agenda of the sector are analyzed.
In the “Articles Approved by the Science Committee” section of the journal, there are the articles written in accordance with the academic rules and qualified to be published by the Science Committee. In the “Articles not Submitted for the Approval of the Science Committee”, there are research, studies, analyses and interpretations of the academicians, bureaucrats, experts, students of insurance and actuary, which are approved by the editor. Articles relating to the issues and problems of the insurance sector in your country and in your region are welcomed. You may submit your articles in English, French or German.
